Old Federal Arsenal Guest House

A guest house located at the site of the old Federal Arsenal and Armory is reputedly very haunted.

Phenomena include a number of apparitions, including a scowling man in 19th century clothing including top hat and walking cane; a Victorian woman in grey hood and cloak; an 8 year old child; and a 19th century man carrying the body of a dead male.

Area outside the Old Fire House

The town of Harpers Ferry is reputed to be one of the most haunted in the USA.

Some claim that a "tall, guant man with wild white hair and beard" can be seen waiting in the area of the old Fire House. It is claimed that this is John Brown, an American abolitionist who was executed here on December 2nd, 1859.
